SouthShore Marina is located on Lake Murray, just minutes from Columbia and Lexington. Our full-service facility offers a range of storage options including wet slips, covered slips, dry stack, and jet ski storage. The marina features a restaurant and bar, a captain’s lounge, and an on-site boat dealership, making it a convenient hub for everything you need on the lake.

We provide flexible storage solutions for boats up to 60 feet, with both covered and uncovered wet slip options as well as dry stack storage. Each wet slip includes power, fresh water, and pump-out access. Our team is here to help with fueling, maintenance coordination, and general support to keep your boating experience running smoothly.

The ONLY reason I have trusted my boats to South Shore Marina is Chase Chambers, the General Manager there. It is a great first class location on Lake Murray with awesome amenities. But Chase has gone above and beyond to earn my business. He is invested, engaging and knowledgeable at all levels on boating and how to run a successful marina and business and it shows he really cares about the members of the marina. Without me asking him and without me knowing about it till later, He stayed over an hour and half after he was due to get off work to wait for my boat to be towed from Libertys on the Lake by SeaTow because the night before my shifter cable had broken and we were stranded there. He not only waited but made sure that my boat was safely tucked into my slip and recommended a wonderful mechanic and facilitated getting it to them. They had it fixed and back in my slip in 2 days!!!! I never expected that kind of service. Chase is the Man and South Shore is lucky to have him on the team.

I’ve been coming here for years to launch boats and kayaks. Great location in the lake and way better than dealing with public boat ramps. I always suggest calling ahead to make sure it’s good to launch if you’re not a member, but it’s never been a problem for me. Worked with the new manager (Chase Chambers) on multiple occasions and he’s been doing a great job on the marina side, and they’ve expanded and opened a restaurant and bar as well that also has surprisingly great food. I recently moved nearby and order takeout at least once a week. Definitely recommend!

New to the area and purchased a home where the HOA wouldn't allow me to park my boat. I came to South Shore looking for a fix for this problem. I was met by Chase Chanbers, who fixed my problem and had a place to put my boat in the water all the time, that day. The marina is filled with people who are genually want to help and answer your questions. When I get there(if I tell them I'm coming) the canvas is off the boat and waiting for me. When I park it, I just had them the keys and they put all the canvas back on and keep it safe from filling up from the rain. Not having to fight the lines and people at any of the boat ramps around here is worth the $10 a day to keep it here. Chase always greats me with a smile and tells me anything I need to know going out on the water that day. Great decision! Great people and great convenient place.

OMG what a transformation since Chase and his management of employees have taken the helm! The services we receive from them are top notch and beyond any other marina/restaurant on the lake. We LOVE Southshore now! If you want great service, gas, storage, slips etc. go to Southshore.

Chase was the manager who helped me, and he truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and take all the stress out of the process. The marina is exceptionally clean, and the boat slips are spacious, well-designed, and well-maintained.

I would highly recommend this marina to anyone looking for a great experience. I'm also excited to try the marina restaurant, as I've heard nothing but great things about it.

Nothing but good things to say about this marina. First time to Lake Murray and the general manager Chase was super helpful. He provided a map of the lake which was helpful. The marina also has a great restaurant with awesome staff and amazing food. Highly recommend this establishment!

I’ve had a great experience with this marina and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and welcoming place to keep their boat. The docks are well-maintained, easy to navigate, and the overall facility is clean and organized.
What really stood out to me, though, was the level of customer service—especially from the general manager, Chase. He was extremely accommodating, professional, and genuinely helpful. Whether it was answering questions, helping coordinate dock space, or just making sure everything was running smoothly, Chase went above and beyond to make the experience stress-free.
The marina has a great atmosphere as well—friendly, laid-back, and perfect for both relaxing days on the water and meeting other boaters. It’s clear that the staff takes pride in keeping everything in top shape.
Overall, this is a well-run marina with excellent management, and Chase’s attention to customer satisfaction really makes it stand out. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!

We had the best experience at Southshore Marina! From the second we got there, everyone made us feel so welcome. Chase seriously helped us so much! He got our new slip all set up & even helped us back our boat trailer into the water for the first time, which we had no idea how to do. I was a little stressed with my toddler running all over the place, but he was so patient and kind through it all. He even surprised my husband for his birthday with a cold treat, which was the same day we took our new boat out for the first time, and that just meant so much to us. The new owners are so friendly and really go out of their way to make you feel like you belong there. We are just so happy we chose this marina and feel lucky to be part of it! Thank you, Chase!!!!
